Container Planting…

Well chosen plants in well chosen containers make an excellent focal point to any garden, patio, wall or entrance to your home providing a wow(!) factor.

At ljgardens we offer a service to give your containers a designer edge. If you have a desire for some gorgeous containers we will visit you for a consultation and either take the containers away to plant or plant the containers on site if they are of a larger variety! We will also source and supply containers when necessary. If it’s a present a telephone consultation is normally sufficient, it may be that you would like us to visit your recipient if they have a special container to be planted or you may like us to find a suitable container and plant it with either favourite plants or plants of a special colour.

Our service is both professional and friendly and we endeavour to keep costs reasonable for containers,compost, plants and our time. No job is too small, we put the same amount of care into all our containers big or small, one or one hundred!

Having a Garden Party…

Having a party out in the garden? Perhaps you’re having a Marque in your garden for your wedding, anniversary or special birthday. Wouldn’t it be lovely if your garden was well presented, looked inviting, and co-ordinated in a style to suit you and your home.

ljgardens offers a garden make over service for garden parties. From clearing borders, to adding some much needed flowering plants, to introducing height and interest with obelisks, and to adding containers planted with co-ordinatings plants, perhaps with some candles added for extra va va voom! Lights in the garden add some extra ambience to an evening party and are useful for highlighting different areas, for example seating, eating, or drinking.

We will visit you at your garden and chat through your garden problems and any ideas you have in terms of style and colours, for example if you are getting married it makes sense to co-ordinate flowering plants with your bouquet and marque colours. We will then spend some time writing a report and researching products best for you, included in the report will be estimated costs. After confirmation of acceptence of our report and estimates we can then schedule a work programme.

No job is to small…we put the same amount of care into all our garden parties.
